IVVQ Engineer Role Overview

An IVVQ engineer is responsible for ensuring the quality, reliability, and performance of software and hardware systems by planning, executing, and reporting on integration, verification, validation, and qualification activities.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Planning and Execution:
    • Develop test strategies, modules, and practices to ensure comprehensive coverage of the system under test.
  • Test Planning and Reporting:
    • Create and conduct system test plans and reports to guarantee thorough testing.
  • Resource Management:
    • Optimize test resources, including staff, software, and hardware, to maximize efficiency.
  • Collaboration and Communication:
    • Work closely with system engineers and other stakeholders to ensure alignment on testing durations, project risks, and defect management.
  • Defect Management:
    • Manage defects and engineering changes to ensure timely resolution and impact analysis.
  • Estimation and Costing:
    • Contribute to the estimation, planning, and execution of IVVQ activities, including providing scope and costing for bid activities.
  • Integration and Qualification:
    • Participate in system integration activities, including qualification of the system architecture.
  • Platform Management:
    • Maintain and optimize IVVQ platforms to ensure they are functional and reliable.
  • Tool Management:
    • Manage and support tools used for monitoring, troubleshooting, and analysis.
  • Supplier Coordination:
    • Coordinate with suppliers regarding services and solutions, and follow up on any issues.
  • Requirement Analysis:
    • Analyze requirements to ensure they are clearly defined and implemented correctly.
  • Test Environment Setup:
    • Ensure the design and implementation of test platforms, including necessary tools and infrastructure.
