Job Summary

We are looking for a highly experienced Lifting Supervisor to oversee lifting operations at our worksites. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the safe execution of lifting activities, reviewing and advising on lifting plans, and coordinating with lifting team members.

Key Responsibilities
  • Review and advise on lifting plans to ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies
  • Supervise lifting operations to ensure safe execution and adherence to safety protocols
  • Coordinate with lifting team members, including crane operators, riggers, and signalmen, to ensure smooth and safe lifting operations
  • Conduct daily safety audits on lifting equipment and gear to ensure they are in good working condition
  • Ensure that only registered crane operators, appointed riggers, and appointed signalmen participate in lifting operations
  • Monitor weather conditions and ground conditions to ensure safe lifting operations
  • Contribute to risk assessment, job safety analysis, and safety procedures to ensure a safe working environment
Requirements
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in lifting operations or a related field
  • Proven track record of ensuring safe lifting operations and compliance with safety regulations
  • Strong communication and coordination skills to work with lifting team members
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing situations
  • Knowledge of lifting equipment and gear, including cranes, rigging, and signalmen
