High School Academic Support Specialist

The Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced academic support specialist to join our dynamic educational community. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality academic support to students in the high school level, promoting student well-being and achievement.

  • Teach IB MYP/DP, College Board AP, BTEC, and/or Stamford course programs as designed by the academic team.
  • Engage with a diverse student population, recognizing and supporting their individual assets, identities, and needs.
  • Support students' holistic development through formal programs and other contributions.
  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders and contribute to the school community.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

To be considered for this role, applicants must possess the following qualifications and skills:

  • At least 3-5 years of experience working with children (ages).
  • MYP/IB/AP experience is preferred.
  • Advisory/Pastoral experience is preferred.
  • Developed interpersonal and teamwork skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written English skills.
  • Good references on request.
  • Proficiency in using educational technology.
  • Demonstrates the school values – Courage, Ingenuity, Compassion, Integrity.
