Job Title: English Language Specialist

English Teacher Role Summary:

As an English language specialist, you will play a key role in helping students to develop their skills and confidence in the subject. You will teach A Level subjects to high school students as well as IGCSE for middle years students.

Key Responsibilities:

- Prepare and implement curriculum for students to help them develop confidence and proficiency in the subject

- Support students in building critical and creative thinking skills through inquiry, observation, and experimentation

- Conduct effective parent conferences and prepare written reports for each student

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor of Education or higher from an accredited institution
  • Minimum of 2 years teaching experience in English subjects
  • Commitment to working in an educational environment that offers academic rigour and excellence in teaching
  • Understanding of and experience in working in an IB Programme, Cambridge IGCSE and A Level is desirable
  • Sound knowledge of curriculum pedagogy
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Sensitivity toward cultural diversities
  • Ability to build community through positive interactions with parents
