Job Description

We are looking for a software professional to lead and execute the transition of data from legacy systems to modern platforms. The ideal candidate will have hands-on expertise in data migration, ETL processes, database management, and troubleshooting complex issues.

The primary responsibility will be to plan and analyze data sources, structures, and dependencies to identify potential challenges. Additionally, you will gather business requirements, define the scope of migration, and work closely with business and IT teams to establish migration plans.

Key Responsibilities
  • Planning & Analysis: Review existing data sources, structures, and dependencies to identify potential challenges.
  • Data Extraction, Transformation & Loading (ETL): Design and implement scripts to extract, transform, and load data into target systems.
  • Testing & Validation: Conduct trial runs and verify data accuracy and completeness post-migration.
Required Skills and Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or a related field is required. A minimum of 3–8 years of experience working on large-scale systems and applications is necessary. Proficiency in SQL and relational databases such as Oracle, MySQL, SQL Server, and PostgreSQL is essential.

Additionally, hands-on experience with ETL processes, data migration, validation, reconciliation, and quality assurance is required. Skilled in application integration, monitoring, and automated testing.
