Service Technician Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Service Technician to join our team. As a Service Technician, you will be responsible for carrying out scheduled and retrofits of automatic door parts, mechanical, electrical, and electronic systems.

About the Role:
  • The ideal candidate will have strong technical knowledge and experience in field service, installation, or maintenance of automatic doors or similar systems.
  • You will be responsible for troubleshooting and conducting site checks on the automatic entrance, proposing parts recommendations to clients, and providing site reports for completion of works.
Your Key Responsibilities:
  1. Carry out scheduled and retrofits of automatic door parts, mechanical, electrical, and electronic systems.
  2. Troubleshoot and conduct site checks on the automatic entrance, identifying and resolving any issues efficiently.
  3. Provide detailed site reports to clients, outlining the completion of works and any recommendations for future improvements.
  4. Test, commission, decommission, and conduct risk assessments of all automatic entrance related systems and products.
Key Skills and Qualifications:
  • NITEC / Higher NITEC in Mechanical, Electrical, or Mechatronics Engineering, or a related technical field.
  • At least 1-2 years of relevant experience in field service, installation, or maintenance of automatic doors or similar systems.
  • A valid Class 3 driving license and safety boots are required.
