Technical Service Manager

We are seeking an experienced leader to oversee technical support, on-site issue resolution, distributor training, and service operations in Singapore and Malaysia.

This role is responsible for ensuring timely installation, repair, and maintenance of products, while building strong collaboration with sales partners to deliver high-quality after-sales service.

This position requires the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritize tasks effectively, and maintain excellent communication skills to ensure customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Technical Support & Service Delivery:
    • Provide after-sales support, troubleshooting, and maintenance for residential, commercial, and industrial customers.
    • Detect and resolve technical issues efficiently, minimizing downtime and ensuring customer satisfaction.
    • Ensure prompt on-site service and repair, manage warranty and escalation processes, and handle customer complaints effectively.
    • Install, troubleshoot, repair, and replace water purification systems, as well as handle customer returns and replacements.
  • Distributor Training & Enablement:
    • Conduct product and service training for sales teams at partner companies to enhance their knowledge and skills.
    • Prepare technical documentation, including operation manuals, FAQs, training manuals, service guides, and demonstration procedures, tailored to meet local market needs.
  • Service Network & Operations:
    • Establish and manage local service teams and third-party providers, including spare parts logistics.
    • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) such as response time, customer satisfaction, and repeat service rates, driving continuous improvements.
    • Analyze after-sales data to identify areas for service process improvements and propose enhancements.
    • Collaborate with R&D and Quality teams to provide feedback on product issues and support ongoing improvement initiatives.
    • Develop contingency plans and coordinate resources to respond to emergencies, such as product batch issues or service crises.
  • Regulatory Compliance & Market Insights:
    • Ensure all operations comply with Singapore and Malaysia standards.
    • Conduct competitor analysis and adjust service strategy accordingly to maintain a competitive edge.
  • Customer Relations & Brand Representation:
    • Handle escalated customer concerns, ensuring exceptional service delivery and customer satisfaction.
    • Support marketing and sales events by providing technical expertise, enhancing brand visibility and reputation.
