We are seeking a dedicated Primary Care Physician to join our team of healthcare professionals. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the growth and development of our medical practice.
Job Description:A primary care physician is a medical doctor who provides comprehensive medical care to patients, focusing on prevention and treatment of acute and chronic illnesses. As a primary care physician, you will be responsible for assessing patients' health needs, diagnosing and treating various medical conditions, and coordinating their care with other healthcare professionals.
- Assessment and Diagnosis: Conduct thorough physical examinations and take detailed medical histories to assess patients' overall health and diagnose medical conditions.
- Treatment and Management: Develop and implement effective treatment plans for patients, including prescribing medications, ordering diagnostic tests, and referring patients to specialists as needed.
- Patient Education: Educate patients on healthy lifestyles, disease prevention, and management techniques to empower them to take control of their health.
- Clinic Operations: Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, coordinate care services, and optimize scheduling efficiency to ensure smooth clinic operations.
To be successful in this role, you must possess the following skills and qualifications:
- Professional Qualifications: A basic medical degree from an accredited institution and registration with the Singapore Medical Council.
- Clinical Experience: At least 3 years of post-housemanship clinical experience in primary care or a related field.
- Soft Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, colleagues, and other healthcare professionals.
