Senior Research Officer Job Summary:

The position of Senior Research Officer involves leading research teams and projects, conducting scientific research, and developing new methodologies to advance knowledge in the field.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and oversee research projects, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget.
  • Develop research proposals, budgets, and timelines for new projects.
  • Participate in strategic planning activities to identify new research opportunities.
  • Review scientific publications to stay up-to-date with current knowledge in relevant fields.
  • Communicate research findings through published papers or presentations at conferences.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • PhD in a relevant discipline such as Microbiology, Biomedical/Life Sciences, Infectious Diseases, Epidemiology, or Public Health.
  • At least 3 to 5 years of postdoctoral experience working in a research laboratory.
  • Prior experience in publication of research findings is an advantage.
