Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Senior Java Developer to lead our software development life cycle, from planning and prioritization to testing and deployment. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for gathering system and user requirements, building high-performance Java applications, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.

As a Senior Java Developer, your primary responsibilities include:

  • Gathering system and user requirements through effective communication and collaboration with stakeholders.
  • Building and maintaining high-quality, scalable Java applications using best practices and industry standards.
  • Designing, developing, and testing Java EE applications with strong proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Spring Boot, and Micro services.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features, ensuring timely and efficient delivery.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you must possess the following skills and qualifications:

  • At least a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a Senior Java Developer or similar role, with a strong understanding of software development principles, design patterns, and best practices.
  • Strong proficiency in Java and related technologies (Spring, Hibernate, etc.), with experience designing, building, and testing Java EE applications.
  • Familiarity with microservices architecture and RESTful APIs, as well as proficiency in SQL and experience with relational databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, etc.).
  • Experience with continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines, version control systems (Git), and agile methodologies.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
