Teach Mathematics and Inspire Students

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate mathematics teacher to join our team. As a key member of our educational institution, you will play a vital role in shaping the minds of our students and helping them achieve academic success.

The ideal candidate should have excellent teaching skills, be able to communicate effectively with students and parents, and possess a strong passion for mathematics education.

  • Develop and Deliver Engaging Lesson Plans: Create and implement lesson plans that align with MOE syllabus standards for primary level mathematics subjects.
  • Conduct Classes and Provide Individualized Attention: Teach classes, provide individualized attention, and support students in achieving their academic goals.
  • Monitor Student Progress: Track student progress, identify areas of improvement, and adapt teaching strategies accordingly.
  • Maintain Open Communication: Regularly update parents on student performance and progress.
  • Collaborate with Colleagues: Work with colleagues to develop curriculum materials, assess student work, and contribute to school-wide initiatives.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree: A bachelor's degree from a local university (NUS, NTU, SMU, SUTD) is preferred.
  • Teaching Experience: At least 2 years of teaching/tutoring experience, preferably in mathematics subjects.
  • Local Curriculum Knowledge: Familiarity with the local Singapore school curriculum and MOE syllabus requirements.
  • Passion for Teaching: A passion for teaching, nurturing young minds, and staying updated on best practices in mathematics education.
  • Excellent Interpersonal Skills: Excellent interpersonal communication skills, ability to work independently, and strong organizational abilities.
