Job Title: Operational Building Manager

About This Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Facilities Operations Manager to oversee the safe and efficient operation of our buildings and facilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage a team to ensure operational excellence in building management
  • Supervise maintenance activities including preventive maintenance, statutory compliance, and building systems operations

Main Objectives:

  • Lead a team of facilities staff to achieve operational goals
  • Oversee various building systems such as chillers, water treatment, fire protection systems, lifts, HVAC, BMS, and mechanical & electrical systems
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards
  • Manage contractors for various services like cleaning, security, pest control, plumbing, and others
  • Act as Fire Safety Manager and WSH Committee Secretary
  • Lead troubleshooting, incident response, and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Manage budgets and negotiate service contracts
  • Generate and present monthly facility performance reports
  • Motivate and develop the facilities team to meet operational objectives

Requirements:

  • Degree or Diploma in Facilities/Building Management or related field
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in facility management in medical manufacturing or pharmaceutical industries
  • Strong knowledge of industry regulations, laws, and facility systems
  • Experience with cGMP, GDP, ISO13485, and FDA standards is an advantage
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and vendor management skills
