About the Role

This is a vital position in our store leadership team, influencing sales floor team members and guest experience every day.

We are seeking a talented professional to lead by example, provide support to colleagues, facilitate an outstanding guest experience in the store, and oversee all operations of the retail floor.

They will leverage key performance indicators and metrics to prioritize responsibilities while adapting to day-to-day business adjustments and challenges.

Core Responsibilities of the Job

Leadership and People Management

  • Provide direct feedback, coaching, mentoring, and career path guidance to team members to support ongoing learning and development.
  • Recognize and reward team members for their achievements, identify areas for improvement, and document performance to support growth.
  • Maintain and disseminate product knowledge through effective communication channels.

Guest (i.e., Customer) Experience

  • Support team members in ensuring a great guest experience that values guests' time, including assessing guest needs, providing technical product education, and facilitating in-store transactions and omnichannel programs.
  • Interact with guests to understand their unique needs and provide customized solutions to meet their expectations.
  • Communicate the value and benefits of products effectively to guests.
  • Resolve guest feedback and address concerns or escalations to ensure satisfaction.
  • Maintain a dynamic presence on the floor to assess and fulfill business, team, and guest needs.
  • Inform guests about local community programs and initiatives.

Working with Others

  • Promote a respectful and inclusive team environment by welcoming diversity and celebrating individual differences to create a supportive experience for all team members and guests.

Operations

  • Lead salesfloor team members, plan coverage, and make decisions to maintain efficiency and effectiveness of salesfloor operations.
  • Analyze business data and metrics to evaluate progress toward goals and determine necessary adjustments.
  • Ensure adherence to opening and closing checklists.
  • Maintain product presentation according to company standards.
  • Assign cleaning tasks to Educators as needed to maintain store appearance.
  • Use in-store technology to support store operations and guest experiences.
  • Understand and adhere to people safety policies and procedures to maintain a safe work environment.
  • Perform work in accordance with applicable policies, procedures, and laws or regulations.
