Job Title: Machinist

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Machinist to join our team at ST Engineering. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing precision machining and grinding tasks on various aerospace components.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Set up and operate conventional lathe, milling, and grinding machines to produce high-quality components.
  • Use various measuring equipment to perform in-process inspections and ensure accuracy.
  • Interpret technical drawings and specifications to complete tasks efficiently.
  • Work independently and as part of a team to meet production deadlines.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to 5S standards.
  • Perform shiftwork, including morning and afternoon shifts on a rotational basis, as required.

Requirements:

  • Proficient in grinding and machining techniques, with experience in aerospace component MRO environments preferred.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Good working attitude, with a keen interest to learn and excel.
  • Attention to detail and ability to understand Component Maintenance Manuals.
