About the RoleThis is a challenging and rewarding opportunity to formulate, review, and implement policies and processes in specific functional areas. As an Academic Support Professional, you will be part of a professional team coordinating and monitoring support for students with Special Education Needs (SEN).
Duties and Responsibilities- Provide case counselling/management support to SEN students, working with their families and relevant stakeholders within ITE/external agencies to render support.
- Coordinate and monitor the help provided to SEN students, implementing intervention programmes as necessary.
- Develop and implement programmes for SEN students' mental wellness and social-emotional development.
To be successful in this role, you will need to possess strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with diverse groups. You should have experience working with SEN students and a deep understanding of the needs and challenges they face.
