Job Title: Calibration Specialist
">Job Summary:The Calibration Specialist will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing calibration activities. This includes performing inspections, calibrations, adjustments, testing, and minor repairs of instruments and equipment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, coordinate, and execute calibration activities in-house and on-site.
- Schedule and manage appointments for equipment due for calibration.
- Ensure all laboratory instruments are calibrated in accordance with relevant standards and specifications.
- Prepare equipment for shipment, including issuing forms, packing, and labeling items for return post-calibration.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation for all calibration-related activities.
- Perform inspections, calibrations, adjustments, testing, and minor repairs of instruments and equipment.
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of calibration procedures and make improvements where necessary.
- Calibrate and service mechanical, electrical, and electronic instruments as required.
- Record calibration results and issue official calibration certificates.
Requirements:
- Possess at least a Higher Nitec or Diploma in Engineering, preferably in Electronics, Electrical, or Mechanical.
- Prior experience in production or manufacturing environments is a plus.
- Detail-oriented with good analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficient in documentation and report writing.
- Able to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
