Responsibilities:

  • Develop and deliver trade ideas leveraging research, market insights, and existing positions to drive business growth.
  • Lead the development of investment themes and provide clear market guidance to frontline teams to ensure effective decision-making.
  • Promote tailored FX solutions to clients, addressing their specific needs and preferences.
  • Mentor and support Client Advisors in enhancing their FX knowledge, fostering a culture of excellence.
  • Serve as the in-house FX expert, providing authoritative guidance on all FX-related matters.

Product Platform:

  • Ensure seamless access to a comprehensive range of FX offerings, catering to diverse client needs.
  • Nurture relationships with FX counterparties and market players, fostering a network of trusted partners.
  • Maintain strict adherence to regulatory requirements and internal policies, upholding the highest standards of compliance.
  • Oversee platform setup, accuracy, and functionality, guaranteeing a smooth user experience.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to develop MIS, reporting, and platform enhancements, driving continuous improvement.
  • Preserve the robustness, efficiency, and control of the platform, ensuring it remains a valuable asset for the organization.

Sales & Communication:

  • Share FX trade ideas, market insights, and sales tools with RMs and investment consultants to enhance their capabilities.
  • Contribute to internal/external publications and develop marketing materials, showcasing expertise and thought leadership.
  • Maintain open communication channels, making timely market calls to help frontline teams manage client positions effectively.

Project Ownership:

  • Lead end-to-end management of FX-related projects, including system changes and process improvements, to drive successful outcomes.
  • Support related Structured Product projects, leveraging expertise to drive innovation.
  • Ensure client-facing documents and product processes meet the highest standards, upholding the organization's reputation.

Requirements:

  • Demonstrate strong knowledge of FX markets and analysis, staying abreast of industry trends.
  • Bring relevant experience in FX sales, advisory, and platform management, with a proven track record of success.
  • Show a deep understanding of the product lifecycle, from development to delivery.
  • Familiarize yourself with financial markets, portfolio construction, and risk management principles.
  • Some experience in project management and systems/process handling is beneficial.
  • Exposure to Structured Products is an added advantage.
  • Understand legal and regulatory matters, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
  • Fluency in Mandarin is desired to interact with Mandarin-speaking stakeholders.
  • CACS certification is a plus.
