Job Title: Financial Modelling Manager

Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Manager to join our team. As a Financial Modelling Manager, you will be responsible for leading a portfolio of active assignments and creating, analysing, and optimising complex financial models.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in finance and accounting, with experience in building and operating financial models using Excel. You will also possess excellent analytical skills, communication skills, and the ability to work independently and as part of a remote team.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Manage a portfolio of active assignments
  • Create, analyse, and optimise complex financial models
  • Develop and refine assumptions, parameters, and scenarios under the guidance of Managers
  • Review and interpret commercial documentation and ensure it is reflected accurately in the financial model
  • Perform sensitivity analysis and stress testing to validate model assumptions and outputs
  • Contribute to the development and enhancement of our financial modeling methodologies and tools
Requirements:

We require the following qualifications and experience:

  • 4-6 years of relevant experience in a financial role within a recognised advisory practice or large corporate setting
  • A good appreciation of accounting concepts, an accounting qualification beneficial
  • An in-depth understanding of Project Finance concepts
  • Strong analytical skills with proven experience in building and operating financial models using Excel
  • Degree qualified in a numerate discipline, with a postgraduate qualification in accounting or finance beneficial
