We are seeking an ATS Design Engineer to join our Engineering Department within the Mobility division at Siemens Mobility Pte Ltd.

Your Role - Impactful, Meaningful, and Future-Oriented

  • Develop and maintain customer project-specific documentation, collaborating with other contractors and global Siemens teams for integration and services.
  • Design and perform integration tests, commissioning the ATS system, and ensuring cybersecurity.
  • Plan and perform security testing, providing support to the project team on cybersecurity topics.
  • Act as the main interface for IT/OT security topics with suppliers, partners, and customers, following up on Security Vulnerabilities and Incidents.

Contribute to a Culture of Innovation and Excellence

  • Bachelor's degree in IT or a related field.
  • More than 3 years of relevant work experience in a similar function.
  • Proficiency in English, with the ability to write clear design documentation and articulate ideas effectively.
  • Spanish language knowledge is valued for liaising with Spanish stakeholders.
  • Ability to work under high workloads, including nights and weekends during testing and commissioning.
  • Security-related certifications are a plus.
  • Railway systems and signalling knowledge, with experience in ATS systems for CBTC projects.
  • Experience in the design and commissioning phase of an ATS system.
  • Strong GNU/Linux skills.
  • Ability to explain complex security concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • General cybersecurity knowledge for IT and OT environments, with a focus on IEC 62443.
  • Knowledge of systems engineering, system administration, network, and operating system hardening techniques.
  • Perform vulnerability assessments on OT environments, with penetration testing skills a plus.
  • Apply cybersecurity principles to organizational requirements.
  • Translate operational requirements into security controls.
  • Knowledge of network security architecture concepts.
