About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced ESG professional to join our team at KPMG in Singapore. As a key member of our ESG team, you will play a critical role in driving our firm's sustainability agenda and delivering high-quality services to our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement ESG strategies and solutions for clients across various industries, leveraging your expertise in impact investing, social impact consulting, and sustainability.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and deliver integrated ESG services, including impact framework implementation, social impact strategy, and capacity building.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and internal teams, ensuring effective communication and delivery of high-quality services.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and emerging opportunities in the philanthropy and impact investing space, conducting in-depth research and analysis to support client recommendations.
  • Ensure robust risk management procedures are carried out in accordance with the firm's guidelines and requirements.
Requirements
  • Strong passion for ESG issues and commitment to making a difference in the corporate landscape.
  • Deep understanding of the social impact landscape and impact frameworks, as well as key elements when building out an ESG strategy for impact investing and philanthropic initiatives.
  • Outstanding academic record, preferably in Accountancy, Social Sciences, Economics, Business, or Communications.
  • Minimum of 5 years' full-time relevant working experience, preferably in philanthropy, impact investing, and/or social impact consulting.
  • Excellent knowledge of MS office, especially MS PowerPoint and Excel, and ability to develop presentation materials to a high quality with a short turnaround.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication (written and spoken) skills, with ability to build relationships with and manage a range of different stakeholders, both external and internal.
  • Curious temperament, independent in learning, and self-starter with good analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Effective project management skills and ability to multi-task to deliver on varying priorities within a highly pressured and often shifting environment.
