Key Roles and Responsibilities:

A Private Equity Investment Specialist is needed to join our team.

About the Position:

This role involves leading deal origination, due diligence, portfolio management, and exit strategies for high-value investments across Asia. The ideal candidate will have a background in private equity, investment banking, or asset management, with expertise in financial modelling and deal structuring.

This is an exciting opportunity for an investment professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about driving value creation in portfolio companies.

Main Duties:

  • Investment & Deal Sourcing:
    • Identify and evaluate high-potential investment opportunities across various industries in Asia.
    • Lead negotiations and structuring of investment transactions, ensuring alignment with fund objectives.
  • Due Diligence & Financial Analysis:
    • Conduct in-depth financial modeling, valuation analysis, and risk assessment for investment opportunities.
    • Perform commercial, operational, and legal due diligence to assess the feasibility and risks of investments.
    • Prepare comprehensive investment memorandums and present findings to the Investment Committee.
  • Investment Management:
    • Monitor and manage investments, working closely with management teams to drive growth, improve operational efficiencies, and optimize value.
    • Implement strategic initiatives, financial restructuring, and business transformations to enhance performance.
    • Track financial performance, ensuring investments align with fund objectives and risk-return expectations.
    • Provide regular fund performance updates and reports to investors and key stakeholders.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Accountancy, Law, Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field.

Strong expertise in financial modelling, valuation, deal structuring, and risk assessment.

In-depth understanding of investment trends, market dynamics, and regulatory landscapes in Asia.

Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.

Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with a strategic mindset.

Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Familiarity with regulatory frameworks in the region.

Understanding of fund governance, compliance, and risk management best practices.

At least 3 years of experience in private equity, investment banking, management consulting, or asset management.

Proficiency in Asian languages is an advantage, especially for engaging with a diverse investor base.
