Job Summary

Maintenance Specialist is responsible for ensuring the efficient operation and maintenance of all mechanical and electrical systems and equipment in our hotel.

This includes maintaining and repairing electrical machines, kitchen equipment, and other equipment in the hotel, as well as performing preventive maintenance on guest rooms and public areas according to checklists.

  • Responsibilities include recording all jobs done, making recommendations in the checklist, reporting any abnormalities encountered during the checking of M&E plant room equipment, assisting in the efficient operation and maintenance of chilled water plants and hot water systems, and supporting shift engineers for servicing works of air handling units and fan coil units.
  • Maintains emergency generators and conducts test runs according to schedule, collaborates with the security department during fire drills and responds to fire-related matters, and responds to Knowcross calls in a timely manner.
  • Works on 3 rotating shifts according to duty rosters.
Requirements

To be considered for this role, candidates should have:

  • A minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in plant facility, hospitality, property management operations, and maintenance environments.
  • Diploma or higher qualifications in Electrical, Mechanical, Mechatronics, Building Services, or Facilities Technology from recognized training institutions.
  • An independent and responsible individual with strong problem-solving skills.
