We are seeking a highly skilled Business Risk Associate to join our team at TRUST BANK SINGAPORE LIMITED. As a Business Risk Associate, you will play a critical role in supporting our product teams in risk and audit related items, and serving as the main liaison between second line risk, internal audit, and external audit.
Key Responsibilities:- Support product teams in risk and audit related items, including identifying risk events, determining actions, and following through.
- Guide teams on RCSA, perform control testing, and support control testing automation.
- Ensure adherence to product governance standards and track risk and audit commitments and their status.
- Perform gap analysis on product and services against regulations and support teams on business continuity, third party management, and tech assessments.
- Main liaison between product teams and second line risk/internal audit/external audit, coordinating requests, responses, and follow-up on actions required.
- Collate and share audit learnings with product teams.
- Work with technology risk and fraud risk on scam/fraud trends and the education required to be sent to customers.
- Own the end-to-end implementation and monitoring of effectiveness for certain risk-related projects.
- 2-3 years' experience in risk management and programme management.
- Business acumen and an entrepreneurial mindset.
- Excellent writing and communication skills.
- Clear understanding of the Bank's Enterprise Risk Management Framework and Operational Risk Framework or equivalent experience gained in other organisations.
- Demonstrated history of applying sound judgement with critical thinking skills and courage necessary to perform a control role and maintain effective working relationships.
- Strong analytical skills, detail-focused with the ability to interpret large volumes of information.
- Problem solving skills with ability to influence across all levels of business.
- Ability to independently drive initiatives with minimum hands-on supervision.
