Job Title: Laboratory Research Specialist
About the Role:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Laboratory Research Specialist to join our team. As a Laboratory Research Specialist, you will be responsible for conducting manual wet chemistry and laboratory testing in a fast-paced environment.
Your primary focus will be on ensuring the quality of raw materials and finished products through accurate analysis and troubleshooting of laboratory equipment.
You will also be responsible for maintaining a safe and organized work environment, adhering to strict safety protocols, and contributing to the development of quality procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct manual wet chemistry and laboratory testing to ensure quality control and assurance
- Maintain and troubleshoot laboratory equipment to ensure optimal performance
- Manage inventory and chemicals to prevent stockouts and overstocking
- Develop and implement quality procedures to ensure consistency and accuracy
- Train junior staff members on laboratory procedures and best practices
Requirements:
- Degree in Chemical Process Technology or related field
- Minimum 5 years of experience in manual wet chemistry or laboratory testing
- Hands-on experience with equipment calibration and reagent preparation
