Waste Collection Crew

We are seeking a dependable and physically fit individual to assume the role of waste collector. As a Waste Collector, you will be responsible for assisting in the collection of waste materials and recyclables from municipal and industrial premises.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist in the collection of waste materials/recyclables from municipal and industrial/commercial premises
  • Guide the driver during the collection process, including vehicle reversing
  • Assist in the disposal of waste/recyclables to material recovery facility, C&D plant or authorized disposal facilities
  • Reinstate work areas by cleaning up spills, refuse, and oil
  • Properly handle equipment and receptacles
  • Maintain vehicles in a clean and washed state daily
  • Ensure safe collection practices according to established standards
  • Comply with occupational safety and health requirements
Qualifications and Skills:
  • Physical fitness
  • Will to work in an outdoor environment
