Job Summary:

  • Purchase Coordination

Our ideal candidate will assist in purchasing construction materials, including sourcing and obtaining quotations.

Key Responsibilities include:

  • Coordinate with department staff for site requests.
  • Issue and follow-up purchase orders and delivery orders.
  • Issue monthly invoices.
  • Assist the Head of Department (HOD) in monthly account closing.
  • Attend to miscellaneous administration tasks.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Holder of O-Level qualification with at least 1 year of relevant experience in the construction industry.
  • Comfortable working in a workshop environment.
  • Ability to compare prices and advise Project Managers (PM)/Operations Managers (OM) on purchase conditions is advantageous.
  • Good negotiation skills to obtain the best price/quality ratio are essential.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, proactive, and independent nature are required.
  • Proficient in MS Office applications necessary.
  • Candidates with less experience may be considered as Purchase Clerks.
  • Able to start work within a short notice period.
