Dyna-Mac is seeking a skilled Painting Supervisor to oversee painting operations and ensure high-quality results.
About the Role:- We are looking for an experienced professional with expertise in quality control, who can effectively manage painting projects from start to finish.
- The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of experience in Marine Shipyard operations, specifically in the field of painting supervision.
- Comply with specifications and monitor activities to guarantee quality standards are met.
- Conduct quality control checks on all painting works, including adherence to industry standards and procedures.
- Prepare documentation such as painting procedures, ITPs, and galvanizing procedures as per client requirements.
- Review paint manufacturer specifications to ensure compliance.
- Record ambient conditions in the chamber and modules at regular intervals.
- Certify blasters/painters after successful qualification tests.
- Maintain measuring device calibration records and arrange recalibration when necessary.
- Send inspection notifications to clients in a timely manner.
- Pre-inspect modules at each stage to ensure quality meets specifications.
- Submit painting reports on time with client approval.
- Coordinate with external parties for technical details.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in Marine Shipyard operations, preferably in painting supervision.
- NACE Level II Coating Inspector certification is highly desirable.
- Diploma in Engineering or related field.
- Excellent knowledge of blasting and painting operations.
- Ability to interpret technical drawings and paint specifications.
- Strong understanding of contractual, commercial, safety, technical, and quality aspects.
- Ability to work under pressure and adapt to changing circumstances quickly.
The estimated annual salary for this role is around $80,000 - $110,000, depending on qualifications and experience.
