Job Role Overview

This is an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Project Coordinator - MEP (Mechanical, Electrical and Plumbing) Engineering Specialist. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating the MEP engineering aspects of building projects.

About the Role

  • Liaise with design consultants and engineers to monitor progress, quality of workmanship, and compliance with project requirements and construction schedule.
  • Coordinate with in-house architectural, civil, and structural teams to minimize discrepancies and ensure smooth project delivery.
  • Check and prepare material samples with shop drawing submissions, manage subcontractors' work progress, and attend coordination meetings.
  • Ensure good drawing management and control of M&E documentation and filing on site, and lead package delivery, construction, and testing activities.
  • Work closely with planners on project schedules, coordinate with stakeholders, and conduct pre-inspections before facilitating RE and RTO inspections.
  • Candidates should have a thorough understanding of both mechanical and electrical systems, proficiency in MS Office, AutoCAD, and BIM software, and strong analytical, supervisory, and communication skills.

Requirements

  • Degree in Mechanical & Electrical Engineering or relevant accreditation recognized by PE Board/BCA.
  • At least 8 years' experience in Building Engineering projects, with added advantage for those with prefabricated MEP system project experience.
  • Organized, meticulous, with a positive work attitude, able to work independently and as a team player.
