Head of Data Science Leader

We are seeking a visionary leader to spearhead our data science efforts and drive real-world AI deployment. As Head of Data Science, you will be responsible for setting the strategy and building capabilities to leverage data science, machine learning, and GenAI to solve complex industrial problems.

  • Job Description:
  • Build and lead a team of data scientists solving tough industrial challenges.
  • Apply advanced analytics, ML, optimization, and GenAI to real production environments.
  • Standardize platforms for data science and MLOps across organizations and geographies.
  • Act as project director or technical expert on key initiatives, from idea to live deployment.
  • Coordinate with global AI/ML committees to align R&D and drive scaled adoption group-wide.

This is a leadership role with significant impact, requiring technical, strategic, and organizational expertise.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Masters or PhD in a technical field (Industrial Engineering, CS, Math, etc.)
  • 8+ years leading data science teams solving industrial problems
  • Experience getting AI projects into production, not just prototyping
  • Familiarity with manufacturing or automotive is a plus
  • Hands-on experience with GenAI / LLMs in real-world use cases is preferred
  • Strong problem framing, solution design, and scaling delivery skills
  • Able to build and guide cross-functional teams and influence at an organizational level
  • Strategic about tools, platforms, and results
  • Broad technical awareness across the AI landscape
