Job Title: Communications Strategist

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Communications Strategist to join our team.

Job Description:

As a Communications Strategist, you will be responsible for executing internal and external communications and engagement strategies for Unleash the Roar (UTR), a national football project that aims to uplift the Singapore football ecosystem.

You will work closely with the UTR team to implement plans for football development, high performance pathways, and industry development. Your primary role will be to enhance UTR's reputation through proactive and consistent messaging, as well as nurture positive stakeholder relations.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Content Production:
  • Create engaging content ideas for UTR's website and social media accounts, including articles, videos, podcasts, and other mediums.
  • Liaise with stakeholders and interviewees to facilitate content production and editing.
  • Organize, monitor, and manage a content calendar to ensure alignment across the Singapore football ecosystem.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in social media and digital content space.
  • Support PR team with coverage of UTR events, generating publicity and media materials.
  • Maintain editorial standards for all content.
Requirements:
  • We seek individuals who possess a strong positive attitude, value teamwork, integrity, and take pride in delivering excellent service to stakeholders and the community.
  • A firm believer in sport and active lifestyle is preferred.
  • Bachelor's degree or above in Communications, PR, Marketing, Business Management, Sport Management, or equivalent.
  • Minimally 5 years of relevant experience.
  • Experience in visual communications principles and ability to create effective communications materials independently.
  • Proficiency in artwork/infographic design/video editing for socials – Photoshop, Canva, etc would be advantageous.
  • Strong command in English, both spoken and written.
  • Self-starter and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Strong team player, able to cross-functionally collaborate within team and across organization.
  • Project management and vendor management skills required to support initiatives and key projects.
  • Ability to work with dynamic and ambiguous environment.
  • Detail-oriented and results-driven.

Estimated Salary: $60,000 - $80,000 per annum.
