We are seeking a seasoned professional to join our team as a Coastal Engineer. This key role will play a vital part in the execution of complex and challenging projects, requiring exceptional technical expertise and leadership skills.

Job Description

As a Senior Coastal Engineer, you will be responsible for developing and applying numerical models to study hydrodynamics, waves conditions, and inland flood modelling for climate adaptation studies. You will also manage projects, including marine risk assessments, mooring simulations, and navigation simulations.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's or Master's degree in engineering, science, or oceanography, with a minimum of 10 years' experience in executing challenging technical coastal/marine projects. Strong knowledge of MIKE by DHI software suite and programming languages like Matlab, Python, or R is an added advantage.

You will lead and prepare proposals in the field of port and terminal involving navigation, mooring, and marine risk assessments. Your ability to work autonomously, self-motivated, and highly technically competent will make you an asset to our team.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in engineering, science, or oceanography
  • Minimum 10 years' experience in executing challenging technical coastal/marine projects
  • Strong knowledge of MIKE by DHI software suite and programming languages like Matlab, Python, or R
  • Excellent report writing skills
  • Ability to work well in a multi-cultural and multi-office team environment
