">Job Description

We are seeking a skilled engineer to carry out design reviews for coastal structures. The selected candidate will work on C&S and geotechnical design and analysis for various projects, including quay walls, ports, jetties, revetments, and land reclamation.

  • Carry out design review of C&S and geotechnical design and analysis for coastal structures such as quay wall, port, jetty, revetment, and land reclamation for local and/or overseas projects.
">Responsibilities
  • Assist the Project Lead/Project Manager in reviewing plans for site investigation and interpreting results.
  • Review C&S design and analysis for coastal structures.
  • Prepare tender documents and technical specifications.
  • Manage subcontracts and main contracts with clients.
  • Ensure proper submissions, record filing, and supervising design and site work.
  • Lead meetings and workshops.
  • Prepare technical reports and structural design calculations for authorities.
  • Ensure compliance with standards, regulations, and codes of practice.
  • Manage stakeholders and support project pursuits, including tender submissions.
">Requirements
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in civil/structural engineering recognized by PEB.
  • Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in infrastructure and/or marine/coastal projects.
  • Experience with marine infrastructure projects in SEA countries.
  • Strong communication skills in English.
  • Team player, disciplined, self-motivated, resourceful, with experience in contract administration.
  • Familiar with Eurocodes and design software such as STAAD Pro, Plaxis, GeoStudio, Prokon, Etabs.
  • Knowledge of structural design of marine infrastructure like jetties, quay walls, breakwaters, and revetments.
