Job Title: Data Center Facility Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Data Center Facility Engineer to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity for individuals who have a passion for facility management, engineering, and operations.

This role involves overseeing the critical facilities of data centers, ensuring their optimal performance and efficiency. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the maintenance of MEP equipment, including UPS systems, generators, chillers, pumps, cooling towers, and other essential infrastructure.

The ideal candidate should have strong technical knowledge, excellent communication skills, and a proactive approach to problem-solving. Additionally, they should be able to work collaboratively with IT teams, design and project teams, and other stakeholders to achieve common goals.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage the operation and maintenance of critical facilities in data centers
  • Ensure the optimal performance and efficiency of MEP equipment
  • Collaborate with IT teams to resolve issues and improve service delivery
  • Work closely with design and project teams on new site/data-hall construction and commissioning
  • Establish performance benchmarks, conduct analyses, and prepare reports on critical facility infrastructure operations and maintenance
Requirements:

To be considered for this position, you must possess the following qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering (electrical, mechanical, or related field)
  • At least 3 years of experience in critical facility management or operation in large-scale data centers or 5+ years of experience in large-scale production facility management
  • Experience with MEP equipment, including UPS systems, generators, chillers, pumps, cooling towers, and other essential infrastructure
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English
  • High attention to detail, ability to identify risks, and drive resolution
  • Ability to communicate in Chinese
