Lead Civil Infrastructure Design Specialist

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Senior Geotechnical Engineer to lead our team of engineers and support the Director of our department with projects in the pipeline.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in civil, structural or geotechnical design, including the preparation of calculations and review of structural design drawings according to customer specifications, applicable codes, standards and other generally accepted practices.
Key responsibilities include undertaking detailed design of buildings and civil infrastructures, carrying out analysis design of buildings and infrastructure, project coordination, liaison with clients, consultants and authorities on technical matters, and training and supporting junior engineers.
Required Skills and Qualifications- Civil Engineering Degree from a reputable institution.
- At least 5 years of relevant experience in Structural / Geotechnical design.
- Good knowledge of various engineering design software and analytical tools.
- Independent and organized work attitude.
- Knowledge of design codes like Euro Code 2, 3.
- Good communication and presentation skills.
- Effective team player skills.
- Undertake detailed design of buildings and civil infrastructures, geotechnical, underground excavation and tunneling works.
- Carry out analysis design of buildings and infrastructure.
- Project coordination including submission to local authorities and liaison during the construction stage.
- Liaise with clients, consultants, and authorities on technical matters.
- Train and support junior engineers.
