Job Overview

The Quality Assurance Assistant Manager plays a pivotal role in ensuring the effectiveness of our Safety Management System. This entails managing our Quality System for offshore activities, encompassing crew, POAC, and vessels.

This key position is responsible for ensuring that all audits are conducted in compliance with mandatory requirements. The successful candidate will regularly review audit reports to drive continuous improvements, manage the marine assurance process, and oversee performance of the SMS team.

The ideal candidate will also be able to coordinate investigations into incidents, keep management closely advised of developments within their area of responsibility, and take initiative for proper and timely action in all respects.

Key Responsibilities

Requirements

We are seeking a highly qualified individual with a degree in Maritime studies or equivalent, preferably with 2 years of sailing experience as a 2nd Engineer/Chief Officer. Technologically driven professionals comfortable working in a digital environment are essential. Logical process development and in-depth knowledge of rules and regulations governing vessels' management are required skills.
