Job Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Software Development Professional to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess expertise in Machine Vision software development, including Deep Learning algorithms and Industry 4.0 Connectivity modules.

The successful applicant will contribute to developing and integrating multiple software products for Automated Assembly and Optical Inspection machines, creating standard and scalable solutions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Participate in team brainstorming sessions to develop potential solutions for business needs.
  • Develop Machine vision/Auto Inspection machine software solutions by studying information needs, conferring with users, and following the software development lifecycle.
  • Create software solution prototypes and participate in technology selection.
  • Effectively communicate with leaders, managers, and employees across every business unit.
  • Enhance existing products for improved functionality, cost reduction, and manufacturability.
  • Gather and analyze data, presenting to customers both internally and externally.
  • Determine operational feasibility by evaluating analysis, problem definition, requirements, solution development, and proposed solutions.
  • Provide input to technical proposals and cost estimates.
  • Collaborate with automation team members to define software requirements, develop, and test software modules.
  • Demonstrate solutions by developing documentation, flowcharts, layouts, diagrams, charts, concise code, and code comments.
Required Skills and Qualifications:

The following skills and qualifications are essential for this role:

  • Expertise in C/C++, .NET framework, C#, WPF.
  • Advanced knowledge of Vision Programming: Cognex Vision Pro, LabView Vision builder, Halcon.
  • Experience in Electronics Manufacturing / Automation Design house preferred.
  • Proficiency in Software version control Tools: GitHub, Bitbucket.
  • Familiarity with MES and Industry 4.0 IIoT Platform, Machine-to-Machine (M2M) protocols, and integrating machine software to Industry 4.0 requirements.
  • Data Management, IT security, and governance understanding.
  • Proven track record to complete development, perform commissioning, qualification of new equipment, and deliver final product on schedule and cost effectively.
Educational Requirements:

A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent discipline is required.
