Job Summary:
This role presents an excellent career growth path for experienced accountants to expand their skill set into treasury management while maintaining a strong focus on accounting work.
Key Responsibilities:
- Managing accounting work for overseas portfolio (50% of workload)
- Overseeing the group's treasury position and ensuring compliance with loan covenants and regulations (50% of workload)
- Managing a portfolio of assigned companies, both local and overseas, including review of management reports and resolution of accounting, taxation, legal, and operational issues
- Assisting with bank loan financing/re-financing exercises
- Managing and monitoring cash flow positions, including funds utilization and dividend/interest upstreaming
- Preparing and reviewing quarterly and yearly financial reports and SGX Announcements
- Assisting in financial reporting and audits for the Group
- Monitoring compliance with the Group's policies and procedures
- Mentoring and developing junior team members in both accounting and treasury functions
Requirements:
Ideal candidate should possess:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
- Professional accounting qualification (e.g., CPA, ACCA) required
- Proven track record of at least 5+ years experience in accounting roles. Exposure to treasury management is an absolute plus.
- Strong understanding of accounting standards and their implementation in group accounts, especially for overseas portfolios
- Excellent analytical skills coupled with strong verbal and written communication abilities
- Experience with SGX listing requirements and financial reporting will be a bonus
- Adept at both independent work and collaborative team environments
- Experience in managing financial operations across multiple jurisdictions is a plus
