SSEM (Systems on Silicon Manufacturing Company Pte. Ltd.) is a leading provider of flexible and cost-effective semiconductor fabrication solutions. We maintain a fully equipped SMIF cleanroom environment, 100% equipment automation, and proven wafer-manufacturing processes.

We're seeking a skilled Associate Engineer to join our Photo Department team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for sustaining equipment performance and performing schedule & adhoc preventive maintenance activities to achieve operation goals.

Key Responsibilities:


• Perform shift duties to support the running of Production in the Module and ensure equipment readiness and worthiness for production

• Perform scheduled preventive maintenance (PM) and calibration on a timely basis

• Assist Engineers in the installation and hook-up of new equipment

• Trouble-shoot equipment-related issues and minimize equipment downtime

• Assist in implementing process improvement projects

• Mentor new Associate Engineers and Technician on their On-The-Job-Training (OJT) by acting as their buddy.

• Involve in machine Part repair and R&M reduction activities for self-sufficiency.

• Research and Development with Vendor on Equipment capabilities improvement. Example. Automatic Vision improvement( AVI)

• Participate in Transform(10K idea, LSS, BKM, Trade Secret) programs to improve productivity and output quality of the Module, and constantly monitor and feedback to Engineers to improve performance of equipment to meet Module objectives

• Maintain good 6S housekeeping in the production area before and after PM, ensuring good safety practice and also safe custody of tools, equipment and other properties belonging to the Module

• To participate in Emergency Response Team (ERT) program to response during emergency situation.

Requirements:


• Diploma / ITC / NTC in Electrical / Electronics / Mechatronics / Mechanical/ Microelectronics / Chemical Process Technology

• At least 2 - 5 years working experience in electrical / electronics industry for Associate Engineer Position

• Fresh diploma holders will also be considered

• Able to perform Operation shift.
