We are seeking a skilled Chemical Technician to join our team at Jurong Island. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our process units and equipment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Monitor and maintain process operating parameters to optimize operations.
  • Diagnose and rectify systems and components' faults in accordance with established procedures and specifications.
  • Perform minor maintenance tasks, including filter changes and piping system isolations.
  • Adjust process parameters to optimize operations under supervision.
  • Commission and decommission process equipment.
  • Perform emergency shutdown of process equipment.
  • Properly handle and blend non-conforming and off-specs products.
  • Prepare plant equipment for maintenance and prepare chemicals for process operations.
  • Perform inter-tank transfers of chemicals and products based on established quality procedures.
  • Participate in emergency response activities and drills.
Requirements:
  • NITEC or Diploma in Chemical Process Technology.
  • At least 3 years' working experience as a Process Technician in a chemical industry.
