We are seeking an exceptional social work academic to join our team. This is a tenure-track faculty position that offers a unique opportunity for individuals who are passionate about teaching, research, and community engagement.

Job Description

This position is part of our ongoing efforts to enhance the social work program at NUS. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching undergraduate and graduate courses in social work, as well as contributing to the development of new curriculum initiatives. They will also engage in research and scholarship that addresses contemporary social issues, with a focus on health and mental health, technology and social services, poverty and inequality, social policy, and social service management and leadership.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in social work and a PhD in a relevant field. They will demonstrate excellent teaching and communication skills, as well as a commitment to mentoring students and fostering a supportive learning environment.
