Job Summary:The Clinical Research Coordinator will be responsible for coordinating Haematology/Oncology clinical trials/research and providing data management support for Haematology/Oncology Services.
Key Responsibilities:- Assist investigators in conducting clinical trials and research studies, adhering to study protocols, Singapore Good Clinical Practice Guidelines, and regulatory requirements.
- Provide research administrative and management support, including research agreements, funding, and grant applications, finance management, ethics, and regulatory submissions.
- Handle data entry and validation, extraction of relevant information from medical records, reporting of adverse events, and maintenance of investigator files and documentation.
- Prepare for and conduct cross-institution audits/inspections by performing monitoring activities, such as safety and compliance reviews at study sites.
- Support database establishment, migration, and maintenance.
- Coordinate departmental academic or service meetings, such as grand rounds, tumor boards, teaching rounds, journal clubs, invited speakers, online meetings, and web conferences.
- Assist in preparing scientific manuscripts and presentations for scientific meetings or other study-related presentations.
- Support miscellaneous work and other functions, such as general administration or coordination, research, and academic activities as required by the department/service or institution.
- Degree in Life Sciences or Health Sciences or related field.
- Prior clinical research experience is advantageous.
- Effectively bilingual.
- Ability to work independently and in a team.
- Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Self-motivator, proactive, meticulous, and possess excellent organizational skills.
- Multi-tasking capabilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and statistical software.
