Mathematics Educator Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and passionate Mathematics Educator to join our institution.

  • Key Responsibilities:
    • Deliver engaging lessons aligned with school and curricular goals, catering to diverse student needs.
    • Plan and implement effective lesson plans to promote student understanding and engagement.
    • Use data to differentiate instruction and meet students' unique learning requirements.
    • Collaborate with colleagues to foster a positive, professional learning culture.
    • Stay current through continuous professional development to ensure expertise in mathematics and pedagogy.
  • Non-Teaching Duties:
    • Ensure compliance with all assessment and examination requirements.
    • Attend meetings, training, and events outside regular working hours as required.
    • Supervise students during breaks and unstructured times to maintain a safe and supportive environment.
    • Lead or coach a co-curricular activity (CCA) to promote extracurricular growth and teamwork.
    • Cover classes as needed and manage teaching resources efficiently.
    • Fulfill homeroom and committee responsibilities if assigned to demonstrate commitment to school improvement initiatives.
    • Support school improvement initiatives by promoting collaboration and mentoring new staff members.
    • Share resources and support curriculum delivery to ensure cohesive educational experiences for students.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification in Mathematics or a related field.
  • 2–3 years of relevant teaching experience, preferably in an international setting.
  • Strong teamwork, communication, and curriculum planning skills to effectively collaborate with colleagues and promote student success.
  • IB experience or training is preferred but not essential for this role.
