Academic Educator Position

The ideal candidate will possess a basic degree in English or above and at least 3 years of relevant working experience. A qualification in TEFL/TESOL/CELTA is highly preferred, as well as familiarity with the Singapore curriculum.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement instructional activities that foster active learning experiences
- Establish clear objectives for all learning activities
- Prepare classroom environments conducive to class activities
- Create a variety of learning materials for educational activities
- Select appropriate instructional resources and methods to cater to students' varying needs
- Utilize relevant technology to support instruction
- Evaluate students' performance and development
- Design assessments such as quizzes, tests and examinations
- Maintain accurate records of students' progress and development
- Generate reports on students and activities
- Manage student behavior appropriately in the classroom
- Apply discipline measures where necessary
- Perform pastoral duties such as student support and counseling
- Communicate information frequently to students, colleagues and parents regarding student progress and needs
- Stay updated with subject area, teaching resources and methodologies and make pertinent changes to instructional plans and activities
- Conduct remedial lessons to help underachievers reach expected competencies in core academic skills
