Business Data Strategist
Job Summary:
The organization seeks a skilled Business Data Strategist to collaborate with business process owners and develop routine and/or ad-hoc reports and dashboards. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively with stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with business process owners to understand requirements and develop data-driven solutions.
- Design, develop, and maintain interactive dashboards and visualizations using appropriate BI tools.
- Work with data sources and databases to acquire and analyze data.
- Develop and implement data models and ensure compliance with data security and governance guidelines.
- Provide actionable insights to stakeholders through statistical analysis and data visualization.
- Maintain and update dashboards to reflect changing business needs.
Requirements:
- Proficient in SQL and data visualization tools such as Power BI and QlikSense.
- Advanced Excel skills and knowledge of programming languages for advanced statistical analysis.
- Tertiary qualification in IT or business analytics or advanced diploma in data-related fields.
- Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
