Transportation Logistics Manager

This role involves overseeing the entire transportation process, ensuring seamless delivery and coordination of transport operations. As a pivotal figure in the logistics sector, exceptional planning and organizational skills are required to manage complex transport orders.

  • Plan and assign delivery or transport orders: Utilize meticulous planning and effective resource allocation to ensure timely completion.
  • Coordinate with stakeholders: Foster strong relationships with key partners to plan and execute transport orders efficiently.
  • Maintain accurate data: Collect and analyze relevant data to provide precise reporting updates to department managers.
  • Resolve operational or service issues: Promptly address challenges that may arise during transport operations.
  • Take on additional duties: Be prepared to adapt to changing organizational needs by taking on new projects and responsibilities.

Requirements:

  • A diploma in logistics management, transport, or a related field is essential for success in this role.
  • Applicants with an O-Level or NITEC qualification are encouraged to apply.
  • Experience in export/import and general trucking processes is highly advantageous.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills are vital for collaboration with colleagues and stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office is also required.
