Marine Technical Operations Specialist

Our team seeks an experienced Marine Technical Operations Specialist to oversee the management and technical operations of our marine fleet. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in managing vessel documentation, performing administrative tasks, and coordinating with suppliers.

  • Manage and maintain all technical documentation, vessel certificates, maintenance records, and compliance records for our marine fleet.
  • Coordinate vessel inspections, repairs, and docking works, ensuring timely completion and adherence to regulatory requirements.
  • Provide excellent customer service and communication on technical and operational matters related to vessel performance.
  • Assist in attending vessel docking, repairs, and surveys, supervising contractors' repair/maintenance works as needed.
  • Monitor and control vessels' consumables to prevent unnecessary wastage, ensuring cost-effectiveness and efficiency.
  • Maintain accurate records of LSA, FFA, cargo hoses registry, lifting gears registry, and PPE for shipboard personnel.
  • Collaborate with the Health, Environment, and Safety (HES) team to ensure smooth implementation and compliance of company safety and quality standards.
  • Investigate defects/failures, reporting incidents and near misses to prevent potential incidents.
  • Maintain crew records, including certificates, training, medical checks, and coordinate crew changes.
Requirements
  • Relevant working experience in marine technical operations
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
