Cloud Infrastructure Architect

We are seeking a highly skilled Cloud Infrastructure Architect to design and implement scalable, secure, and efficient cloud solutions. This individual will be responsible for developing comprehensive technical documentation and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project implementation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement high availability, backup, and recovery solutions on Azure and AWS.
  • Manage large-scale infrastructure project implementations and deployments.
  • Review vulnerability assessment and security assessment reports, proposing and implementing infrastructure solutions and providing recommendations to application teams.
  • Ensure solution designs align with requirements for scalability, performance, and quality, in accordance with established service level agreements.
  • Collaborate with product vendors for effective cloud solution deployment.
  • Plan and conduct research on application technologies independently to support business objectives.
  • Prepare documentation outlining the ideal future state of infra-architecture, identify current gaps, and define transition plans to bridge these gaps.

Requirements:

  • Minimum degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field, or equivalent.
  • At least 5-7 years of relevant working experience in cloud infrastructure architecture and implementation, particularly with AWS and Azure.
  • Proficient in designing and implementing cloud solutions (HA, backup/recovery), infrastructure deployment, vulnerability and security assessment review, cloud architecture documentation, and performance/scalability optimization.
  • Strong analytical thinking, communication, leadership, and stakeholder collaboration skills.
  • AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert, or equivalent.
