Job Title: Energy Efficiency Consultant

As a seasoned energy efficiency consultant, you will play a pivotal role in helping organizations reduce their environmental footprint while minimizing costs. Your expertise in building energy simulations will be instrumental in identifying areas of improvement and implementing effective strategies to achieve sustainability goals.

Key responsibilities include conducting comprehensive building energy simulations, developing 3D models with precise façade and shading features, and integrating active energy systems such as lighting and air-conditioning systems. You will work closely with engineers to review technical specifications, extract relevant details, and input these into the simulation model to realize substantial energy savings.

In addition to your technical skills, you will be expected to present advisories on energy-efficient designs and optimization strategies to project stakeholders, including architects, engineers, and building owners. Clear communication of results, findings, and calculations using graphical diagrams and report writing will be essential.

Requirements for this role include a strong educational background in mechanical engineering or a related field, proficiency in AutoCAD, and experience with energy modeling software such as IESVE, EnergyPlus, or E20. Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint, are also crucial. While prior experience in energy modeling is beneficial, a strong ability to learn independently and adapt quickly is equally important.
