The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting primary legal research, collating research materials, and formulating data governance practices. Responsibilities and Requirements:
- Conduct primary legal research on AI, data protection, and cybersecurity law using databases such as Lexis-Nexis and HeinOnline.
- Collate research materials and prepare summaries of regulatory materials, legal judgments, and secondary sources.
- Develop and implement data governance frameworks to ensure compliance with regulations.
- Work collaboratively with the team to design and execute research projects.
- Perform other research administrative tasks as required.
- Bachelor of Law degree or Juris Doctor from a good university with experience in research and/or AI law and regulation.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with leadership potential.
- Organized and meticulous with the ability to follow instructions accurately.
- Team player with the ability to work independently.
- Solid understanding of technology an advantage.
