Job Title: Technical Site Manager

This is a challenging opportunity for a highly skilled technical professional to manage and oversee the installation of fire hydrant chambers and pipes using approved earthquake-resistant Kubota Pipes.

The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising and coordinating excavation and trenching activities, ensuring that installations adhere to Kubota GENEX pipe installation methods, approved drawings, and applicable local Codes, Regulations, and Standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Inspect and monitor quality of workmanship on site.
  • Check all drawings and contract specifications, including authority submission drawings and shop drawings.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) is essential for documenting and reporting purposes.
  • Able to commit to night shifts and overtime as required by project demands.
Job Requirements:
  • Possess a degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field such as Civil Engineering.
  • At least 5 years of experience in a similar role with expertise in supervising Changi Airport Runway Projects.
  • Registered Resident Technical Officer with IES/ACES is mandatory.
  • Proven track record of adhering to Airport Operational and Safety Requirements.
  • Familiarity with Regulations and Standards for runways, taxiways, military taxiways, and Airport Emergency Services is crucial.
Required Skills:
  • Excavation and construction management skills are vital.
  • Microsoft Office proficiency, particularly in Word and Excel.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills are necessary for troubleshooting and resolving issues.
  • Strong communication and leadership skills are required for effective team collaboration.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team is essential.
